Since 1976, our founding date, many things have changed. From the rise in construction activity in 2000 to the crisis of 2009, from solid wood, twine, ribbon and carpenters' planes, to the consolidation of chipboard (novopan) as the main raw material in furniture, the changes and the need for new components in furniture.

Our wide range today consists of 780 various furniture components in comparison to 1980 when we only had about 20.

The company Nikolaos Zalonis opened its first store of 20 sq.m. in "Petrino Spiti" in Argyroupoli in 1976 where it was exclusively engaged in the formica trade. In 1980, it moved to a bigger place in Argyroupoli and in 1990 as a family company named "Nikolaos and Michalis Zalonis O.E." it was relocated to Voreiοu Epirou street where it is housed until today.

Our constant planning is to import and distribute parts without middlemen so that we are able to provide competitive prices but also sufficient profitability to remain healthy. For this reason, 80% of our range is imported from international houses or domestic factories, we have sufficient stock to cover large quantity requests from hotels, furniture factories, etc.

 More than 10,000 items related to furniture components, construction materials and building equipment are available in our warehouses.
