Handrail railing assembly instructions

A classic and timeless structural choice in the construction of stair railings for a shop or house loft are wooden railings, where compared to metal, they give a more warm and earthy design style. In the following article we list assembly instructions and the materials needed to create a horizontal wooden railing arrangement.
Parts needed:
1) Balusters [available in heights 50, 70, 90 cm] ............[codes - 1129151, 1129186, 1129185]
2) Newel post......................................................................[code 1129189]
3) Timber square wooden beam 40x10 mm ...................[code 1132894]
4) Top rail ............................................................................[code 1132635]
5) Bottom rail ......................................................................[code 1119490]
6) Metal corner 50x50 mm ................................................[code 1122170]
7) Double side hanger bolt - wood screw Μ10x80 mm ..[code 1128905]
8) Screw plug 12x60 mm ...................................................[code 1129310]
9) Insert wood nut Μ10x20 ...............................................[code 1119571]
10) Wood screws small 5x30 mm.....................................[code 1125554]
11) Wood screws middle 5x60 mm....................................[code 1119229]
12) Wood screws long 5x100 mm......................................[code 1119346]
13) Wood drill bit D.4x75 mm ............................................[code 1129814]
14)Wood drill bit D.12x151 mm...........................................[code 1129822]
15)Wood putty pine ............................................................[code 1118761]
Preparation:
-Cut woods to desired dimensions.
-Sanding and painting each piece of wood.
-Mark the positions you want the balusters on top and bottom rails for better alignment when they are mounted [preferably at a distance of 15 cm each hole which leaves 10 cm distance between balusters].
Assembly:
Step 1:
- Prior screwing, first drill the appropriate hole with the wood drill 4mm [κωδικός 1129814], then mount the balusters on bottom rail with wood screws 5x100mm [code 1119346].
Step 2:
- Prior screwing, drill the appropriate hole with the wood drill 4mm [κωδικός 1129814], then mount the square wooden beam on the balusters with wood screws 5x100 mm [code 1119346], make sure they are in the positions you have marked so as to maintain the verticality of the balusters.
Step 3:
- Prior screwing, drill the appropriate hole with the wood drill 4mm [code 1129814], then mount the top rail on the square wooden beam 40x10mm with wood screws 5x30 mm [code 1125554].
Step 4:
- Mount the newel post on floor with screw plug 12x60mm [code 1129310] and double side hanger bolt-wood screw M10x80mm [code 1128905]. Prior screwing, drill the appropriate hole with the wood drill D.12x151mm [code 1129822], then insert wood nut Μ10x20 mm [code 1119571] on newel post to mount on bolt.
Alternatively, on concrete floor we can use a fully threaded stud bolt Μ10 - 1 meter [code 1118841] with a cut to the desired length and a metal anchor for concrete Μ10x58mm [code 1125056].
Step 5:
- Prior screwing, drill the appropriate hole with the wood drill 4mm [code 1129814], then mount the assembled part [balusters with top and bottom rails] with diagonal screwing, as shown, with wood screws 5x60 mm [code 1119229] and fill holes when mounted with wood putty pine [code 1118761].
- Optionally instead of diagonal screws or with the diagonal screws for more support, we can use metal corner 50x50 mm [code 1122170] with wood screws 5x30mm [code 1125554].
